About Kash

Kash Gabriele Torsello is an independent photojournalist, and writer specialized on travel, daily life, human rights, conflicts and dialogue of cultures.

In 2010 Kash has founded ProPugliaPhoto a photographic project to train & promote new photographers in Apulia, Italy, and in 2012 ProPugliaPhoto has become a  Photo Agency specialized on Landscape & Reportage for the Film, Editorial and Advertising Market.

From 2007 up to 2012 Kash has been working on promoting cultural bridges between Europe and Afghanistan, in collaboration with the local population, Embassies, Ministries of Foreign Affairs, European Union, Public Institutions, Charities and Companies. Projects include:
Staramascé, a Meeting of Minds on Afghanistan.
Kash & Shabana, between Rome & Kabul.
Afghanistan CameraOscura.

From 1994 to 2006 Kash has been working as photojournalist in South Asia, in particular:
